SOFTBANK has announced that the “mini plan basic fee half-year free campaign” currently being implemented by the online-only brand LINEMO will be virtually free from September 30, 2022 to January 31, 2023. Limited, announced that it will expand from a maximum of six months to a maximum of eight months.

This campaign has been in effect since May 2022, and for new customers and MNP contracted customers, LINEMO “Mini Plan” with 3GB of high-speed data communication and monthly basic charge of 990 yen (tax included) will be virtually free. That’s what it means.
At the beginning of May, the period during which the monthly basic charge was free was “up to 6 months”, but from today until January 31, 2023, the maximum free period will be extended by 2 months, up to 8 months.
During the campaign period, if you make a new application or sign a new LINEMO mini plan with MNP, you will receive PayPay points equivalent to 990 yen every month for 8 months, which is equivalent to the basic monthly fee.
