In addition to the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro, according to Bloomberg News, Apple is developing a new iMac. The new iMac adopts a new design, narrow bezel screen. The metal chin at the bottom has been removed, and the overall appearance is similar to Pro Display XDR.

Apple will release two new iMac sizes, 21.5 inches and 27 inches. Previously, there were rumors that the size of the new iMac was 23-24 inches. Like the new MacBook Pro, the next generation of the newly designed iMac will also be equipped with Apple Silicon.

The Apple chip in the new iMac has more powerful computing and graphics performance, possibly up to 16 high-performance cores and 4 high-efficiency cores. The high-end version may be equipped with up to 32 high-performance cores, and the GPU will also provide 16 and 32 core options.

At the same time, Apple is also developing a lower-priced external monitor to be sold together with the current Pro Display XDR. This low-cost monitor is the successor to the Thunderbolt monitor that was discontinued in 2016. The size, resolution and other configurations of this display are unclear. The previously discontinued Thunderbolt monitor used a 27-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. The new low-cost display may adopt a narrow bezel design similar to the Pro Display XDR style, while reducing the size and resolution.
