The Apple Silicon (M1) compatible version of Microsoft’s web browser Edge is now available on the Canary, Dev, and Beta channels.
Is the official release coming soon?
In December 2020, Microsoft released a Dev version of Edge for Apple Silicon. And since the Beta version has also been released this time, it is thought that the official version will be released soon.

The Edge browser still works fine on M1 Macs via Rosetta 2, but it goes without saying that the native version has better performance.
