iPhone does not vibrate anymore? These tricks help!

iPhone vibrationThe vibration of the iPhone is one of the most important functions, especially if you depend on them. Especially then it is annoying when the smartphone suddenly stops vibrating and you missed an important call. If the iPhone vibration stops working, it can be for several reasons. We show you in this trick how to solve the problem quickly.

To solve the vibration problem, there are several approaches you can try before you go to the nearest repair service.

Check vibration settings

Settings → Sounds & Haptics → Vibrate when silent

First of all, you should check in the settings whether the vibration is not deactivated. So go to the Settings app under Sounds & Haptics and make sure the vibrate alert is enabled on Vibrate Silent.

Restart iPhone via hard reset

If this step does not work, we recommend a hard reset. With such a "forced reboot," most iPhone issues can be resolved quickly and without data loss. Even short-term software problems can often be solved. Alternatively, you can also try restarting your iPhone in a conventional way – just turn it off and on again.

Reset all settings

Settings – → General → Reset → Reset all settings

Every update makes major changes to iOS. In some cases, a new software version may even be responsible for the failure of the vibration alarm. So go to the Settings app and select the item "General". There you wipe down to the bottom and tap on "reset". In the next step you will choose "Reset all settings" and all your settings – including the vibrations – will be deleted.

Delete all settings on the iPhone

The vibration alarm should work again now. If the iPhone still does not vibrate after these measures, something speaks for a hardware defect. In that case you have to go to the iPhone repair service.
