Many users have reported that Apple's podcast app, Apple Podcasts, crashes about every two minutes.
Probable cause is a server-side problem
The "Apple Podcasts" bug is probably related to Apple's server-side changes, US media 9to5Mac speculates. App problems began to be reported after iOS 13.1.3 was released.
Twitter is full of tweets from users who lament that the Apple Podcasts app doesn't work.
It's great that a multi-billion dollar company can't make a podcast app that doesn't crash every two minutes.

The podcast app has been crashing this morning (for @AppleSupport). Every time I play for 30 seconds, it crashes. Downloading a podcast on the device also crashes. I am using iOS13.3.

When I try to listen to My Favorite Murder, it crashes every 2 minutes. What does it mean if you didn't choose to use this app but it doesn't work? I just wanted to listen to the crime documentary before going to work.
Attempting to listen to @MyFavMurder only to have the podcast app crash every 2 mins. Funny how I did n’t ask for this app but now that I want to use it, Apple ca n’t even do that right All I wanted was to listen to true crime before going to my piece of shit job later

If an app bug is a server-side issue, Apple will be able to resolve it confidentially. According to 9to5Mac, bugs have not been confirmed in the podcast apps of Apple Watch and mac OS Catalina.
