It is reported that on February 16, Ms. Liu bought a 256G gold iPhone 12 Pro Max on Apple’s official website. The total cost was 10,099 yuan, using WeChat payment. On February 18th, Ms. Liu received a call from the courier, saying that the courier had reached the community. Ms. Liu was not at home at work, so she asked to sign in person, but the courier said that it could be placed in the courier cabinet. Did not insist on signing in person.

At around 9 o’clock that evening, Ms. Liu took out the package from the express locker after returning to the community. When I came home and opened it, I was stunned. There was no trace of a mobile phone in the package. Instead, it was a box of 250ml green apple-flavored Mengniu yogurt with a very dirty exterior and a production date of 2020/10/13. Ms. Liu said that no obvious signs of unpacking were found when picking up the package.

It is reported that because Ms. Liu could not contact the courier delivery staff and EMS and Apple customer service that night, she chose to call the police and reported the situation to Apple and EMS express companies the next day. On February 19, the staff of Apple and the EMS express company stated that they would respond to Ms. Liu’s situation within two days. On the same day, Ms. Liu went to the Binhu Police Station of the Hefei Public Security Bureau to report the case. On February 23, the EMS express company replied to Ms. Liu: “This matter has been handed over to Apple to handle all, and EMS will no longer deal with related issues.”
