In this video today we will see what to do if the applications in your iPhone keeps crashing. Suppose if you open this YouTube application then the app should open and you should be able to use the app. But if you try to open this YouTube app and if the opens and then closes immediately that means the app is crashing. So, in order to fix this issue let us see what to do. The first thing we can do is we can restart our iPhone and then open the app again. Sometimes restarting the iPhone fixes many of the minor issues. The next thing that we will check is we will see how much of storage is left in our iPhone. Every app requires some space to run without crashing. If there is no space then the app can not run properly. So, we will go to “Settings”. We will go to “General”. Then we will go to “iPhone storage” and then let us wait for few seconds and here you can see out of 64 Gigabyte, I have used only 29.4 Gigabyte. That means I have enough space left in order for the apps to run. For you if you don’t have enough space then you should have to delete those things that you don’t need. If you scroll down you can see what things are taking up more space in your phone. If you see for me photos are taking up more space, after that the backup in the iCloud Drive is taking up more space. So, what I should do is I should check inside the Photos and I should check inside the iCloud Drive and see if I can delete something so that I can make space. Now the next thing that you have to do is, you have to check if there is an update available for the application. Sometimes there might be an issue that is caused in an application and that can be fixed by the latest update provided. So, if you want to see if there is an update or not, go to “App Store” and suppose if I want to find update for YouTube, I will have to go here and then I can tap YouTube and then open. Now at the moment if you see on here, there is open button. If there is an Update then instead of open, you will find update. Or else what you can do, you can tap on the profile icon here in the App store and if you scroll down, you can see which applications has update pending and which is already updated. If you can see, YouTube is already updated. So, check and make sure that your App has the latest update. Now the next thing that you can do is sometimes you might not find the update in the App Store so in that case, what you can do is you can deleted the app and reinstall it again. So, if you want to delete the application, you will tap and hold the app and then select “Remove App” and then if you select “Delete App”, the app will be deleted. So, once you delete the application what you do is, you go again, go to the App Store and in the App Store what you do is, you will search for the app that you want to install and then install the application. Now the last thing that you can do is, you can also update your iOS software. Sometimes there might be a bug in the iOS software that , due to which the application can crash. So, in that case you can update your app to the latest version. So, for that one, go to “Settings” – “General”. Go to “Software Update” and check if there is an update pending for your device or not. For me you can see that there is an update available which is iOS 14.5.1 and if I have to install it, I can select this option “Download and Install” and install the latest version of iOS software. So, do all of these things and check if this will fix the issue.
