Genshin Impact 1.6 frame rate test on M1 iPad Pro 2021
So, after updating Genshin Impact to V1.6 on the M1 iPad Pro 2021, YES, the resolution has gotten better BUT the frame rate is totally bad.
Genshin is dropping loads of frames on the M1 iPad Pro even after a very specific update. At times when there’s loads of action and loads of rendering on screen, the M1 iPad Pro 2021 is dropping more frames than it is actually rendering and playing.
Given that this update was specific for the Apple Silicon M1 chip in the 2021 iPad Pro and it is so bad. It does not look good for the future of M1 iPad Pro 2021 if games get worse after specific updates.
Gaming on the iPad Pro M1 2021 is starting to look really bad compared to the iPad Pro 2020 and gameplay on the M1 iPad Pro 2021 is also looking worse than gameplay on the iPad Pro 2020.
The settings for Genshin Impact were set to maximum for the highest quality graphics and the frame rate was set to 60 FPS
To me, this looked as if the M1 iPad Pro was only rendering 30 frames per second and then dividing that into 60 frames per second.
