We will specifically look at CPU, GPU, Disk Speed, and Video Editing benchmarks.
In my opinion, those Mac minis are great entry-level Macs, ideal for college and home office use.
From my testing the performance is best for surfing the web, writing emails, working on documents or photos.
However, when it comes to video editing I found that the Intel Mac mini’s onboard graphics was a bit too slow.
Now granted there are differences based on which video codecs one uses, or how complex your projects are.
In my opinion, it is fair to say that the Intel Mac Mini is a great machine if you keep the limited graphics performance in mind.
Which most people won’t need anyways unless for gaming or video editing.
In conclusion, the Mac mini is a great beginner Mac, that is compact, energy-efficient, and easy to use. .
