If you felt left out by Unc0ver Jailbreak’s release of an iOS 14.5.1 and lower jailbreak, you are not alone, however, security researcher Pattern-F has great news for you if you stayed on iOS 14.6, iOS 14.7, iOS 14.7.1, iOS 14.8, or even iOS 15.0. They have achieved today a jailbreak on A12+ devices (iPhone XR and newer) thanks to a bug that was patched only in iOS 15.0.2!
This brings great news to those who have updated past iOS 14.5.1 and could not use Unc0ver Jailbreak + Fugu14. The jailbreak demonstrated by @pattern-f seems to be able to also execute binaries which means they’ve successfully achieved AMFID patching for CodeSign, a huge step towards a fully working jailbreak. Pattern-F has released useful code before for the jailbreak community.
