2022 Chinese New Year High Ride Time, Ramp Control Information
High load control time, road section
- February 3 (third day) to February 4 (fourth day), 2022
From 13:00 to 18:00 every day, the National 1 northbound Kaohsiung end to Hukou and the National 3 northbound Jiuru to Daxi entrance ramp will be implemented - February 3, 2022 (the third day) ~ February 6 (the sixth day)
From 14:00 to 21:00 every day, the northbound on-ramp of the National 5 Suao, Luodong, Yilan and Toucheng interchanges will be implemented; the end time of the National 5 northbound high loading will be adjusted according to the traffic conditions.
On-ramp closure control hours, sections
- February 1 (first day) to February 3 (third day), 2022
✳️ From 0 to 12:00 every day, the national 1 Pingzhen system, the Puyan system and the national 5 Shiding and Pinglin south entrances are closed
✳️ During the period when the south entrance to Shiding is closed, it will be changed to a dedicated entrance for buses. - February 3 (third day) to February 5 (fifth day), 2022
✳️ From 7:00 to 24:00 every day, close the National 1 Po salt system and the north entrance of National 3 Xibin
✳️ From 7 to 19:00 every day, the entrance to the north of Guo1 Huwei and Rende and the two-way entrance of Guo1 Wangtian and Guo3 Ming are closed.

National road open shoulder
At present, the existing open shoulder measures are implemented as usual. The Highway Bureau of the Ministry of Communications has also increased or extended the open shoulder period in response to the Spring Festival holiday. - January 28, 2022: In front of the exit of Nanshen Road of Kaiguo 3 and Nangang Liaison Road
- From January 29th to February 6th, 2022: The road shoulder of the road from Yilan to Toucheng northbound on State 5 is excited to open the road shoulder for buses
Toll information on national highways during the Spring Festival: 0:00 to 5:00 national highway tolls will be suspended
- Suspension of toll collection period: January 29 to February 6, 2022 (Toll collection of national highways is completely suspended from 0:00 to 5:00 every day)
- Single rate: From January 29th to February 6th, 2022, China 3 “Hsinchu system to Yanchao system” adopts a single rate and then charges 20% off.
- Differential rates for road sections: A single rate will be adopted from January 29 to February 6, 2022.
