Don’t Buy An Apple Silicon M1 Mac Mini Or MackBook M1 For iPad iOS Games No COD No PUBG No Fortnite
Just a simple video to warn you to not buy any of the new Apple Silicon M1 Mac computers, the Mac Mini M1, MacBook Air M1 and MacBook Pro if you were expecting them to be able to play the big mobile games from the iOS, iPad and iPhone app stores.
PUBG, Call of Duty and Fortnite are not available for download in their mobile forms from the Mac App store for the new Apple Silicon M1 Mac computers.
This may change in the future if the developers of those games opt-in for their iOS iPad iPhone mobile versions to be available and playable on the new M1 Macs.
Even if they do become available, the news looks like it still wont be good. So far, I’ve not found one iPad iOS game that plays full screen on the Mac Mini M1 and some games simply don’t play well at all.
There are also many iOS iPad apps that are not available for download to the Apple Silicon M1 Macs as well. I use a DAW music app called Cubasis and this is not available for download to my Mac Mini M1.
Maybe this will all change and maybe game and app developers may end up designing their apps to be better used on the M1 chip Macs. So my advise if you are thinking about buying an M1 Mac specifically for gaming and more specifically for iOS, iPad, iPhone games and apps, is don’t buy one, not yet.
