Pro Tools HD Native Thunderbolt running on MacBook Air

*Just came across this related video by airusersblog as well:

Just wanted to see if Pro Tools Native Thunderbolt and Avid HD Omni I/O would work on the most basic MacBook Air. Conclusion: Was able to play a 36 voice demo session with a good amount of plugins no problem. However, the system doesn’t perform quite as well during tracking. I tested this at 64 samples, 32 bit floating point, and at 96khz. 8 tracks recorded for 30 seconds, and one track recorded for almost 2 minutes. I’m sure that recording at 44.1khz an 128 samples would yield much better results. Let me know if you have any questions.

Sorry for the blur. Used my iPhone to film this and it was hard to focus.

UPDATE 12/10/12: Recorded stereo track at 48khz at 128 samples for 3 minutes before system error.
