In this video, we’re discussing a new FutureRestore Script for iOS downgrades which makes using FutureRestore much easier and quicker especially for beginners in the iOS Downgrade / Jailbreak community. This script is particularly useful because it reduces the number of errors one can make while settings flags and paths which have the potential to mess the restore and the device. This script makes it very simple to downgrade as long as certain conditions are met.
The main conditions for a #downgrade restore to work is to have valid SHSH2 blobs saved for the iOS version you’re downgrading to, and for SEP and Baseband to be compatible. This is a tricky part and requires some research on the jailbreak forums and communities as these are usually manually tested by users. This tool doesn’t bring anything new in terms of the downgrade procedure, it just makes it much easier for someone who isn’t experienced with the terminal and FutureRestore to perform the downgrade.
