Skyrim SE on M1 Pro via Parallels: ~30 FPS at Ultra settings, 1200p

Hey you, you’re finally awake … Testing Skyrim SE with 67 mods (a mix of graphical and gameplay mods, including SKSE64), running on Windows 11 Pro Insider via Parallels 17. In this video, I start in The Bannered Mare, walk through Whiterun up to Dragonsreach, then down to Riverwood. Steam’s FPS counter is available in the top left corner of the video. For the most part, the game runs smoothly, but it does slow down in certain areas. The computer’s fans were silent.

Settings: 1920 x 1200 resolution, FXAA (low) antialiasing, detail set to ultra.

Specs: 14-inch MacBook Pro (2021), Apple M1 Pro with 10-core CPU, 16-core GPU and 16 GB unified memory. Parallels is using 5 vCPUs and 8 GB unified memory.

How I played Skyrim SE with an Xbox controller:

Recorded via QuickTime, exported as 1080p.
