I just bought the new MacBook Air with the m2 chip. I purchased it in the color starlight! I was nervous because I bought the laptop online and was stuck between the colors Midnight and Starlight. I thought Starlight was going to be too gold, but as you will find out by watching this video its not gold at all! In this video I unbox the new 2022 MacBook air and I give my first impressions of it. I went to the apple store to pick it up and then I went home and opened it up on camera for you guys to see! I share my thoughts along the way and comments and opinions on the changes that I notice.
You will also see that I have the older 2015 version of the MacBook Air so I compare and contrast the two laptops so you can see what’s new and different about the newest MacBook Air. You’ll also see how big the new MacBook is compared to the older version. The design, the computer screen, and the keys are all different on this new apple laptop! The charger and the charger cable are also different as well. Overall Apples new MacBook is great and I do really like the changes that were made to the new Air.
I really love this new computer but there are a few things that I don’t like and the main thing that concerned me was that there are no traditional USB ports! This means you need to buy a separate adapter if you want to connect anything with a USB! This fact alone worries me and has me considering returning it. I will say the whole not having any traditional USB ports on the new M2 chip MacBook really disappointed me to say the least. Overall its a great laptop and after having time to think about it I believe that I will end up keeping it, though I still have a week to return it or not.
