At the ‘Peak Performance’ event, Apple has finally introduced the iPhone SE 3 (or the iPhone SE 2022 if you will) alongside the new Green colour option of the iPhone 13 series. The all-new iPhone SE 3 is the first 5G phone in the SE lineup thanks to the inclusion of the A15 Bionic chipset, which is an upgrade from the earlier A13 Bionic SoC from 2020. The launch event also puts an end to the rumours about the design of the new SE model — it looks exactly like its predecessor (and even 2014’s iPhone 6), with thick bezels above and below the screen and a Touch ID physical fingerprint sensor. The iPhone SE 3 also brings improved optics and slightly longer battery life.

iPhone SE 3 price in India starts at Rs 43,900 for the base 64GB model; it costs $429 (about Rs 33,000) in the US. The smartphone comes in 128GB and 256GB storage options as well, but their prices haven’t been revealed yet. The latest iPhone will go on pre-orders at 6:30pm IST on March 11th, with sales starting on March 18th. Buyers will be able to choose between Midnight, Starlight, and (PRODUCT)RED hues.
