How to Downgrade iOS 13 to iOS 12 (Without Losing Data) | Remove/Downgrade iOS 13 Beta to iOS 12.3.1
With the iOS 13 public beta just recently being released, a lot of you probably jumped the gun and installed iOS 13 without hesitation. Well if you already checked out all of the new features, here’s how you can downgrade from iOS 13 to iOS 12, while retaining all of your data.
Note: As mentioned in the video, make sure to backup your data via iCloud (most importantly Messages & Safari) as well. Some are reporting that messages weren’t recovered, but if you have them backed up via iCloud, this won’t be an issue.
For Mac, backup files are located in ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
WINDOWS USERS:
– Backup files are located in C:Users(username)AppleMobileSyncBackup
Make sure to do an iCloud backup with Messages enabled in case they get deleted when downgrading.
