In today’s video, I will guide you on how to fix an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch for which you forgot the passcode or screen time passcode. This also applies if you, your friends, or your kid accidentally set up a passcode and nobody remembers it anymore. To fix the device we’re going to use a software called iMyFone LockWiper, which can also fix devices stuck on MDM, Activation, carrier locks, or even forgotten backup passphrases.
LockWiper can fix a device that is stuck on activation or on the lock screen if you forgot your credentials. This is also the case when purchasing second-hand devices from eBay and such. Often times these devices turn out locked and the seller vanishes. It’s unfortunately a common scam and this tool can help you at least get some usability from the device you bought.
Note: When performing a factory reset, all the data on the device will be removed for security reasons. Make sure you have a backup of your important data before using this tool.
