Click “Add keyboard•••” and click on the “Gboard” input method.
The Gboard input method will appear in the menu, click it to open “Allow complete access”.
You can return to the IG App. In the IG chat window, press the earth button in the lower left corner and switch to “Gboard Input Method”, and you can type on the phonetic keyboard normally!
Method 3. Waiting for IG update and correction
The above two methods can be regarded as temporary solutions, which can really improve the problem of IG’s inability to type. It is necessary to wait for the next version of IG to be updated. However, the above two methods can improve the problem.
