▶️ In today’s video, we’re going to introduce Elon Musk’s Starlink Will Provide Internet To the Whole World (42,000 Satellites!?)

Elon Musk, the pioneer behind companies like Tesla and SpaceX. like the colonization of Mars, which his company, SpaceX’s primary goal. This time, Elon has plans for the telecommunication industry, including developing a globe-spanning network of satellites providing broadband internet and creating a subsidiary business that SpaceX could later spin-off in an IPO. So, Elon Musk is hoping to send 42000 satellites to space to achieve this goal. He already has around 12000 satellites in space and shook the world in 2019 when SpaceX applied for 30000 more.

High-tech launched into space. For low orbit. So, 42000 is equal to about ten times of these satellites for SpaceX alone. A mega constellation of satellites and provide global coverage. Nearly half of the world’s population doesn’t have access to the internet because many of its options require an extensive network of underground cables leaving the remote areas offline. These fibre cables transmit large amounts of information over long distances is through fibre optic cables. These bundles of glass fibres carry beams of light from one point to another, taking advantage of light’s extreme speed.

Satellites send data to remote parts of the world, but typically, the ones we use are geosynchronous for where they appear settled over one spot in the sky. To achieve that, positioning satellites have to be in very distant forms over 35800 kilometres high. That means that even using light at its max speed, latency times are around 700 milliseconds.

So, SpaceX plans on putting satellites much closer to assist to function at 550 kilometres up. At this altitude, they can’t remain over one spot. They have to move quickly for so many of them to preserve coverage. But at that distance, a satellite network passing along data at light top speed will happen less late, even any fibre-optic network longer than 3000 kilometres. The more distant the information must travel, the more profitable the organization like Starlink will have over earthly fibre optic partners.

Starlink Satellites will need to be cheap and solid. SpaceX company, Starlink. Elon Musk says that this satellite internet project alone would bring them $30-$50 billion when fully functional.

Elon Musk’s beta program of Starlink, Starlink Kit, which incorporates a user terminal and Wi-Fi switch to associate to the satellites. The company is offering the benefit to clients within the northern U.S., Canada, and the U.K. SpaceX depends on the Linux working framework in its satellites as well as its rockets. Each dispatch of 60 satellites contains more than 4,000 Linux computers. The satellites participating in the project will connect to several others via a laser beam, creating something like the network’s backbone.

According to users, Starlink is currently delivering 80Mbps to 150Mbps in download speeds and about 30Mbps in upload speeds. Meanwhile, latency comes in at around 30 milliseconds, which is on par with ground-based internet. Of course, everything has pros and cons. This project also raises some concerns as Starlink satellites are bright and reflective and appear as stars at dawn and dusk. This interferes with astronomers’ works to look for near-earth objects that may hit us as it is an excellent time to do it.
The mega constellation of satellites could also limit the search for black holes or new planets.

SpaceX has tried to counter the problem by creating a Dark Sat, a satellite coated with very dark material. Once you have numerous such satellites within the closest, most closed orbit around Earth, there’s the next chance that those satellites seem to collide with each other or with other satellites.

Elon Musk the SpaceX CEO, Starlink, the SpaceX satellite, will be the most prominent satellite constellation in human history.
