  11. IPAD 2 = Useless brick forever here.
    It did NOT work for me… my father forgot his password, and his apple ID is deactivated. Everytime I try this restore with Itunes, it restores, but always ask the same ID and passcode again. There is no way to recover his apple ID, because he forgot absolutely everything.

My ipad is with my in laws after divorce…they've refused to return it… I wonder if they can open it…but the iPad is locked because I forgot the password and I tried ten times and then it was locked…but now I wonder if they can open it…can someone please clarify to me that my data will not be misused or what if they can?
