According to the latest report from German media “TechnikNews”, Motorola is preparing to launch a new Motorola Nio phone in the first quarter of next year (2021). The biggest feature is a screen that supports a 105Hz refresh rate.
According to the foreign forum “XDA Developers” data, Motorola Nio codename XT2125 has been tested. According to the technical specifications shown in the running data, Motorola Nio uses Qualcomm (Qualcomm) Snapdragon 865 processor, with 8GB memory and up to 128GB internal Storage capacity, and data also shows that Motorola has also launched another 12GB memory +256G internal storage variant.
What’s interesting is that the screen used by Motorola Nio is a 6.7-inch display that supports 1080p resolution and 105Hz screen refresh rate.
Since there has never been a smartphone with a 105Hz screen refresh rate in the past, most of them have specifications of 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz, so the 105Hz screen refresh rate of Motorola Nio is a very special specification. According to the “XDA Developers” forum, the screen should be overclocked to upscale the original 90Hz screen to 105Hz. Therefore, when the Motorola Nio is officially launched in the future, the screen specifications are likely to be marked back to the original 90Hz.
