First it was Samsung who wanted to launch its digital assistant with the Power button but now it’s Google. With Android 12 and the Google Pixel 6, the company has changed what long pressing the Power button actually does.
Instead of bringing up the Power Menu, the button will now activate the Google Assistant instead. This is great for some, but it changes a fundamental feature that Android has had for years.
So I wanted to do a video that covered four different ways to power down the new Pixel phones.
