Today I am really excited to finally to be unboxing the new Samsung Galaxy S22 in Phantom Black! The new S22 was released alongside the S22+ and S22 Ultra. I choose the S22 as on paper, for me this phone ticks all the right boxes, from size to features and price. What’s new? Not a massive redesign from the S21, instead makes key incremental improvements and upgrades. Slightly more sharp, squared of design compared to S21. As someone who also uses an iPhone 13 this feels good. Also get glass back compared to plastic on S21. 6.1” flat OLED display – Samsung makes the best of the best. Love the thin and symmetric bezels. Now has variable refresh rate, instead of choosing 60 or 120, it will vary from 48 to 120 to improve battery life. Compared to S21, S22 has hame general design, front camera placement, button layout and is still IP68 waterproof. Specs: Snapdragon 8 gen 1, 8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage, Triple back camera, 50 megapixel main camera, Ultawide, 3X telephoto, 3700 mAh battery. S22 vs S22+: 6.1” vs 6.6”, 3700 mAh vs 4500 mAh, price $799 vs $999. I cannot wait to start using and testing the new Samsung Galaxy S22!
