Today, blogger Panda baldly broke the news that the rear main camera of the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition is 100 million pixels.
It should be noted that the 100 million pixels here is not the Sensor (HM2) on the K50 Pro, but Samsung’s new HM6 sensor.
It is reported that the Samsung HM6 adopts a pixel arrangement of 12000×9000, the total number of pixels is 108 million, and the unit pixel area is 0.64μm. The CMOS adopts 1/1.67 bottom, supports 8K 24fps, 4K 120fps video shooting, supports Super PD (PDAF) focusing and ISOCELL 2.0 technology.
More importantly, HM6 is the first sensor to use NONAPHEXEL PLUS technology, which can generate a 12-megapixel photo through 9-in-1 pixels, while increasing the unit pixel area to 1.92μm, bringing a clearer display effect.
The sensor also supports SMART-ISO and anti-aliasing, SMART-lSO allows the HM6 to adapt to shooting conditions by automatically selecting a higher or lower ISO mode.
In dim scenes, the high ISO mode can enrich the details in the shadows of the picture, and the anti-aliasing technology can effectively reduce the noise floor in the picture, making the picture clearer.

It is not difficult to see that the night scene of the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition will be greatly improved compared to previous models, which may be the best-performing imaging phone of the Redmi K series.
