The thickness of Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 is only 11.2mm and the weight is only 262g. Such a thin folded thickness also allows the unfolded unilateral thickness to reach the extreme 5.4mm, which is also the thinnest 5G mobile phone in the world (non-folding). state).
Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 is equipped with Xiaomi’s self-developed third-generation hinge technology “micro-droplet shape hinge”. The highly integrated hinge reduces redundant complex structures, makes the hinge more concise, and reduces the folded thickness of the entire hinge to only 8.8mm, which is 30% thinner and 35% lighter than the industry-wide 11 and 12mm thickness.
The inner screen of Xiaomi MIX Fold 2 is the only screen in China that uses Samsung Eco OLED material, with a resolution of 2160×1914. The Eco OLED screen enhances the light transmittance by 33%, and it is also the only foldable inner screen on the market that achieves 1000nit full-screen high brightness. The 4:3.55 internal screen brings a flat-panel view, whether it is office or entertainment.
Its external screen is a 6.56-inch screen with a resolution of 2520×1080 and a mainstream 21:9 aspect ratio. The latest E5 material has a full-screen brightness of 1000nit and a 16% reduction in power consumption.
Xiaomi has also adapted all system applications to a large screen on MIX Fold 2, and supports three-finger quick split-screen, multiple small windows, sidebar quick small windows and other unique large-screen experiences.
