This time, the K50 Extreme Edition is provided by two suppliers, Tianma and Huaxing. Mr. Wei found that the full-screen excitation brightness of Tianma and Huaxing screens both exceeded 900 nits, which is better than Samsung E4. The screens provided by the two suppliers All are first prizes, and there is no so-called “lottery draw”.
It is reported that the K50 Extreme Edition uses a custom 1.5K ultra-clear resolution screen, the look and feel is close to a 2K screen, the screen resolution is increased to 2712*1220, 446PPi, and the resolution is directly comparable to the iPhone 13 Pro Max (458PPI). At a normal viewing distance, the actual look and feel is almost the same as that of a 2K screen.
In terms of pixel arrangement, the K50 Extreme Edition adopts the latest pixel arrangement technology from two major screen manufacturers: Tianma Windmill and Huaxing Pearl 2.0 arrangement. Compared with the previous domestic OLED pixel arrangement, the loss of OLED clarity is effectively reduced, a higher equivalent resolution is achieved, and the display effect is more delicate and smooth.
According to Lei Jun, the founder of Xiaomi, the 1.5K screen of the K50 Extreme Edition is the product of the joint establishment of a laboratory by Redmi, Huaxing and Tianma, two major domestic screen manufacturers, and a lot of resources invested. Through this 1.5K screen, I hope to reverse the industry’s reputation and views on domestic OLED, and to rectify the name of domestic OLED.
In terms of core configuration, the K50 Extreme Edition has a rear-mounted 100 million main camera, the model is Samsung HM6, and is also equipped with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle and 2-megapixel macro. The battery capacity is 5,000 mAh and supports 120W wired fast charging.
