Regarding Xiaomi’s smart manufacturing, the most well-known is Xiaomi’s smart factory, also known as the “black lamp factory”, which has appeared on CCTV news many times.
The so-called black lamp factory is also an unmanned factory, which uses an intelligent assembly line inside, so it can work normally without turning on the lights.
It is understood that the Xiaomi Smart Factory is located in Yizhuang, covering an area of 18,600 square meters. It is not only a factory, but also a laboratory of Xiaomi. Self-developed fully intelligent machine control, using micron-level dust removal technology.
Xiaomi has previously introduced that the annual production scale of the factory is about 1 million ultra-high-end flagship mobile phones. This year, the Mi 13, which has excellent sales and reputation, is also produced here.
In addition, the construction of the main structure of the second phase of the M1 project of Xiaomi Smart Factory has been completed in September this year, and it is expected to be delivered and put into use by the end of 2023.
