Gas Prices Make 2022 Tesla Semi Truck Quicker and Faster Than Ever!
On the recent tesla earnings call, Elon Musk noted Tesla will not be introducing any new models in 2022, including the Cybertruck, the Roadster performance car, and the company’s first commercial truck, the Semi. The expected arrival for these vehicles has now been pushed back to 2023.
The Tesla semi with its sleek body style and its four electric motors at the rear to haul massive cargo, With a max payload of 80,000 pounds. Tesla claims that the semi acceleration from 0-60 mph is only 20 seconds with an 80,000-pound payload.
Pre-production units of the Tesla Semi were spotted outside Giga Nevada in December 2021. However, volume production of Tesla’s electric truck will take place from 2023, at the Gigafactory Texas plant in Travis County
