Thank You for watching our video; ALERT: Meet The Tesla Semi Truck Killer; The Chinese Homtruck That Will Doom The Entire EV Industry

This announcement comes at a time when Tesla has postponed the manufacturing of a similar electric vehicle, the Tesla Semi, until 2023, despite the fact that it was meant to be released in 2017. According to CNBC, Mercedes and Warren Buffett-backed BYD have also revealed their own electric trucks. Given recent events in China, the statement that a battery replacement option will also be introduced for the BEV version is not surprising. The Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the commencement of a government battery replacement pilot program for electric vehicles, including trucks, at the end of October.

The Homtruck is named after its developers’ original goal of creating a semi-truck that feels like home, addressing the living and emotional needs of its drivers. Semi-truck drivers all across the world spend an abnormally long amount of time in their cars, frequently more than they do at home. The Homtruck’s mobile area blends “work, living, and entertainment,” meeting the vital demands of its driver.

When the first deliveries begin, the Homtruck will be one of the most modern and cleanest commercial vehicles on the road, with an emphasis on efficiency, driver and pedestrian safety, and big advances in sustainable powertrains.

Farizon Auto’s engineers thoroughly researched the needs of independent commercial vehicle drivers and fleet operators when designing the Homtruck’s hardware and software solutions.

The Homtruck can connect to the logistics network’s big data systems to assist drivers in obtaining the best orders in real time, analyzing and tracking deliveries, and calculating operational expenses along the routes. The ‘brain’ of the Homtruck may use vehicle sensors to analyze traffic data in real time and provide route recommendations. Furthermore, the energy management system can regulate the Homtruck’s power or fuel supply to achieve the best economic performance and can offer the best refueling or charging routes to the driver.

Driver comfort has been proposed as a primary incentive to improve vehicle safety, based on the assumption that well-rested drivers are more attentive and focused.

Farizon Auto has built a cockpit that uses the concept of home, and optimizes space to create a driving and a living environment based on comprehensive analysis of driver working conditions and itinerary. A bathroom with a shower and toilet, a single bed, a refrigerator, a tea maker, a kitchen, and even a small washing machine are all part of the design. The ergonomic seat design and high-definition camera help guarantee drivers are well-rested and focused, while an intelligent AI assistant and full 360-degree cameras keep the driver informed of any issues around the car when in motion or stationary.

The Homtruck will be able to use Level 4 hands-off autonomous drive functions on a growing number of selected routes, as well as convoying features for longer travels, which will allow trucks to communicate with one another to maintain safe speed and distance, lowering operator stress levels. Lidar, millimetre-wave radar, and ultrasonic radar will be standard equipment, as will 5G and V2X communication. The Homtruck will also be completely upgradeable over time via Over the Air software changes.
