After LINE announced the end of its two-year avatar service in February this year, it now has another personal profile “decoration” function that has been online for two years, which is about to be discontinued and is expected to take effect in November.
LINE officials recently issued an announcement that starting from November this year, the “Doodle” function will no longer be available on the profile page in the LINE application, and the “Special Effects” function will only be available in LINE 13.18.0 or above.
The “Decoration” function for LINE profiles is a tool element that allows users to use the built-in “Decoration” function to create the style and characteristics of their own profile cover. The default options include: background, stickers , enter your own text, special effects, day counter and other decorative objects. Just click on your profile photo in the upper right corner of the LINE homepage to enter the “Decoration” function to further edit your favorite cover style.
The above-mentioned “decoration” function was launched in August 2020 after the personal profile page was redesigned to full-page display. In addition, the “Personal Profile Studio” function has recently been added to personal headshots, which provides a variety of AI special effects to generate headshots of different styles, such as creating an AI Teen with the atmosphere of a high school student, or making a photo with yourself. AI Baby pictures that resemble cute children.

With the official announcement of LINE, the “Decoration” function service is about to come to an end. In other words, starting from November, the profile cover will still retain the existing photo/video upload function, and the various “Decorations” originally built in by default. Functional elements will no longer be available for use. As for why this function was disabled, the official did not explain the reason.
