The market research agency releases the latest data! The top 20 best-selling mobile phone models in Taiwan in September were revealed. This is also the first first sales report of Apple iPhone 15 since its launch. A total of 7 models entered the list and took the top three in one fell swoop.
Looking at the overall market in Taiwan, mobile phone sales in September reached approximately 438,000 units, an increase of nearly 95,000 units from the previous month, and total sales jumped 76%, mainly due to the launch of Apple’s iPhone 15, and the iPhone 15 Pro 256G, iPhone 15 Pro Max 256G, and iPhone 15 128G have become the top three best-selling mobile phones in Taiwan.
As for iPhone 15 256G, iPhone 15 Pro Max 512G, and iPhone 15 Pro 128G, they are ranked 6th, 7th, and 9th respectively, while iPhone 15 Plus 256G is ranked 20th. Overall, buying momentum for this year’s iPhone 15 Plus is still limited, and consumers are still focusing on the high-end Pro series in the early stages. In addition, only the iPhone 14 128G among older phones is still on the list.
According to analysis by Taiwan chain Jiesheng Communications, the sales volume of the champion iPhone 15 Pro 256GB is more than twice that of the iPhone 15 Pro Max 256GB. However, in fact, the pre-order volume of Pro Max is more than 2 times higher than that of Pro. The first batch of arrivals is scarce, and new colors are the longest. It cannot be shipped until the end of November, which is speculated to be the main reason why it dropped to second place this month.
The Android camp is dominated by Samsung and Oppo. Among them, Galaxy A54 5G 8GB/256GB is the only Android phone that can squeeze into the top seven. It ranks fourth with its affordable price. Samsung’s entry-level Galaxy A14 5G 4GB/64GB also ranks among the top seven. Ranked eighth. As for high-end models, the foldable phone Galaxy Z Flip5 5G 8GB/256GB performed well, entering the list for two consecutive months, replacing the Galaxy S23 Ultra 12GB/256GB in the tenth place.
