If you have old Android phones or iPhones that have been used for more than ten years, you need to pay more attention!
The latest announcement from the communication software LINE states that starting from November 1, 2023, which is next Wednesday, the mobile version of LINE App will only support Android phones with Android operating system version 6.0 or above, and iPhones with iOS operating system version 12.0 or above. In addition, if the LINE App currently installed on your mobile phone cannot be upgraded to “version 11.15.0”, you will no longer be able to use the mobile version of LINE from November 1.

Currently, the latest version of the mobile version of LINE App is “13.16.2”, and the minimum threshold version that supports device upgrades is “11.15.0”. Applicable mobile devices must be Android 6.0 or above, and iOS 12 or above.
Take Apple’s iOS 12 system as an example. The eliminated mobile phones are iPhone 5, iPhone 5C, iPhone 5S and iPhone 4. Almost all of them are old models that have been around for more than ten years. There are not many users who continue to use them. The latest November update service policy announced by LINE App this time will not have much impact on most users.
Please be reminded that if your phone no longer supports the upgrade to LINE “11.15.0”, you need to consider replacing it with a new phone. In addition, if you use an old mobile phone as a backup, remember to upgrade the mobile phone system version as soon as possible, and at the same time upgrade the LINE App to version “11.15.0” or above.
