The market research agency announced a survey of mobile phone sales through physical channels in Taiwan in November 2023. The overall sales volume in that month was approximately 446,000 units, a decrease of more than 80,000 units from the previous month. The total sales volume declined by 16%, and the total sales volume also fell by more than 20%. According to data reports, buying sentiment for Apple’s new iPhone 15 series has also declined.
Although Apple still achieved the status of “triple crown” in November, including sales, sales and best-selling single devices, compared with its outstanding performance in October when the sales market share exceeded 50%, it only captured 48.8% in November. It is equivalent to a 4.1% drop. Does this mean that the sales peak of the iPhone 15 series has passed? It deserves follow-up attention.

The rankings from 2nd to 5th remained unchanged, namely Samsung (22.6%), OPPO (8.8%), vivo (5.7%) and Redmi (4.8%). Sales and market share all showed growth, with Samsung growing again. 2.6% is the highest. In other words, among the top five mobile phone brands, only Apple’s sales have declined.
As for the rankings from 6th to 10th, there have been major changes, and the order is realme (2.4%), Google (1.7%), Sony (1.5%), Asus (1.1%) and Xiaomi (0.7%), realme Sales surpassed those of Google and Sony that month.
