The battery life performance of mobile phone batteries has always been one of the options that many phone buyers take into consideration. According to foreign media Tom’s Guide recently released the latest list of the top 15 mobile phone battery life tests in 2024. The data results show that all models of various brands ranked in the top 15 list have a long-lasting battery life of at least 13 hours. In terms of power performance, Apple, Samsung, Asus, Motorola, One Plus and the new brand Nothing all have representative models on the list. The test conditions are based on the mobile phone’s screen brightness being adjusted to 150 nits, turning on 5G Internet access and running until the power is exhausted.
It is worth noting that the iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro Max, which were still in the top five of the mobile phone battery life list last year, have been relegated to the bottom ten. In addition, the Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, the top-end version that has long dominated the list with a battery life of 18 hours and 32 minutes, has been replaced by the new generation ROG Phone 8 Pro.

There are many models on the list, all from January to early March this year. Launches include: Samsung and Asus launched the flagship S24 series equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processors and the e-sports flagship ROG Phone 8 series in January this year, and OnePlus launched the OnePlus 12R equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in February , together with the new mid-range phone Nothing Phone (2a) launched by the new brand Nothing last week (3/6).

According to actual measurement data, the winner of the 2024 mobile phone battery life performance list is ASUS’s e-sports flagship ROG Phone 8 Pro, which took the first place on the list with a battery life of 18 hours and 48 minutes. Samsung’s hot-selling top-end flagship S24 Ultra this year ranked fifth with a battery life of 16 hours and 45 minutes. In addition, the newly launched mid-range phone Nothing Phone (2a) ranked eighth with a battery life of up to 15 hours.
