Google launched a new AI feature called “Circle to Search” this year, which is currently exclusive to the two major Android brands of Google and Samsung. Google Pixel 7, Pixel 8 series and Samsung S24 series are the first to support it. Both major brands are now extending this feature to older models to strengthen their overall lineup.
Google announced that not only the Pixel 7 and Pixel 8 series, the circle search function is also ready to be launched to Pixel 6 series (Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 6a) and Pixel 7a users. In addition, it also includes Pixel Tablet and Pixel Fold, but it has not been given yet. Exact date.
For Samsung, in addition to the Samsung S24 series, the official has also previously announced that AI functions will be transferred to older models, including circle search functions. The first batch of models to be upgraded are the S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold5, and Z Flip5 and Galaxy Tab S9 series, which are expected to start rolling out this week. As for when other Android brands will get the circle search function, it may have to wait until October at the earliest.
