LINE today (4/8) released the mobile version of LINE App “14.5.0” update to iPhone users. The main upgrade focus is to support the “LINE Community” chat room with 5,000 people online group chat. Join A function that can manually hide the messages of a specific member in the community. After this function is enabled, the content of public messages sent by this member in the social chat room will not be displayed in the social chat room window of the user’s own mobile phone, and The member will also not know that the message has been hidden. At present, the new function of hiding messages in the community is first launched in the iOS version of LINE 14.5.0, and Android users are not yet able to experience it.
For the operation and usage of the new “hidden message” function introduced in social chat rooms, just click on any social chat room to enter, then click on the personal photo of a community member to see the new “hidden message” button option, after clicking, the system will display a reminder notification “Are you sure you want to hide the messages sent by this member in the future? The messages will be hidden in this community and its chat room, and the messages sent by this member so far will not be hidden.” Then Click the “Hide” button with blue text to apply. If you change your mind in the future, you can also click on the member’s photo and click the “Unhide Message” button.
However, if the member is a community moderator, the “hide message” feature does not apply.
