Recently, it was reported that Google will re-adjust the flagship lineup of the new generation Pixel 9 series, expanding it to three models for the first time, including Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL. However, the latest news points out that the Pixel 9 series will not only have 3 models, but as many as 4 models.
Foreign media Android Authority said that it was exclusively revealed by Google insiders that Google will launch the second-generation folding phone Pixel Fold this year, but it will not be named “Pixel Fold 2”, but will be changed to “Pixel 9 Pro Fold”, so Pixel 9 There are a total of 4 models in the series.

Google launched its first foldable phone, Pixel Fold, in May last year. Since it was released in the middle of the year, it was only equipped with a Tensor G2 processor, which was slightly insufficient for a flagship folding phone. Google this time apparently plans to adjust the second-generation folding phone to be launched in October with the Pixel 9 series and use the latest Tensor G4 processor.
However, the report also said that renaming Pixel Fold 2 to Pixel 9 Pro Fold seems to be a decision made by Google only recently. Therefore, everything may still change before the new machine is officially released.
