Apple today (12/12) officially launched the “MagSafe Dual Charger” in Taiwan at a price of 4,290 yuan, which will allow users to charge their iPhone and Apple Watch at the same time.
“MagSafe Dual Charger” is a new product launched by Apple at the iPhone launch event in October this year. It consists of two square charging plates connected in series. On the left is the MagSafe magnetic block, which can provide iPhone 12 series magnetic charging and support Qi charging protocol can charge AirPods. On the right is the exclusive charging pad for Apple Watch.
As the originally planned AirPower failed to launch successfully, Apple changed to “MagSafe dual charger” this year to meet the needs of users. Many third-party accessory vendors have also launched wireless charging pads that support multiple devices.
In addition, it should be noted that the charger box only provides a USB-C to Lightning cable, without a charging head. According to the official statement, if a 20W USB-C power adapter is used, it supports the fastest wireless charging of 11W, 27W or Higher power can come to 14W.
“MagSafe Dual Charger” is now officially open to Taiwan consumers to order on the official website. There is a limit to two groups at most. Orders placed today will have to wait until January 6 to get them.
