Samsung 5nm A78 flagship core world premiere! vivo X60 series announced

On December 14, the vivo X60 series was officially announced.

The official poster shows that the vivo X60 series is the first Samsung Exynos 1080 flagship processor.

Exynos 1080 is the industry’s first 5nm A78 flagship chip. Its CPU and GUP use the latest generation of ARM’s Cortex-A78 and Mali-G78 combination, and its performance has been significantly improved.

According to ARM’s official information, Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A77 have 20% higher performance than A77 under the same power consumption, and under the same performance, A78 saves 50% of energy consumption than A77; and Mali-G78 GPU Performance is 25% higher than Mali-G77.

Among them, Exynos 1080 integrates the latest ARM Cortex-A78 core with a maximum frequency of 2.8 GHz and the high-performance Cortex-A55 core into its three-cluster CPU system. The CPU performance is almost twice that of the previous generation.

Not only that, the vivo X60 series is once again equipped with micro-head technology, which was first commercialized by the vivo X50 Pro.

Compared with traditional OIS optical image stabilization, the micro-head can realize anti-shake correction in multiple directions, so as to obtain a larger anti-shake angle than ordinary OIS, and preserve the integrity of the picture to a greater extent. The ultra-stable micro-head can also effectively extend the exposure time and have more powerful night shooting capabilities.

On the vivo X50 Pro, the micro-pan-tilt anti-shake technology achieves a stable and smooth shooting picture, and the anti-shake angle is 200% higher than the traditional OIS optical anti-shake.

Now on the vivo X60 series, vivo has upgraded the micro-head to version 2.0, and the imaging quality is worth looking forward to.
