Honor mobile phones have been completely separated from Huawei. President Zhao Ming previously stated that he will be the number one mobile phone in China. It is reported that their sales target in 2021 is 100 million.
According to news from the Sci-tech Innovation Board Daily, Honor Terminal plans to ship more than 100 million units in 2021, but they did not report more details. The 100 million sales are not sure whether it is domestic sales or total domestic sales.
Prior to this, according to Tencent’s deep network news, Honor CEO Zhao Ming made it clear in an employee communication meeting in Beijing recently that Honor’s goal is to become the number one in the domestic mobile phone market.
Honor has also made progress in the most critical chip supply. A source close to Qualcomm said that the progress of negotiations between Qualcomm and Honor is very optimistic, and the two sides are close to reaching a supply cooperation.
In addition, the supply agreement between MediaTek and Honor is close to completion. According to sources, MediaTek has planned to supply 5G chips to Honor next year.
On November 17, Huawei officially announced the sale of Honor Terminal. Huawei no longer holds any shares in New Honor, nor does it participate in management and decision-making.
After Glory left Huawei, Ren Zhengfei also issued an internal letter, hoping that Glory will not be disconnected from Huawei in the future. Glory can become stronger and stronger, and it can become Huawei’s competitors in the future, even surpass and defeat Huawei.
