Intel i9 10th 10900k with Nvidia RTX 3080 and 3090 in 1440p, 4k

No card comes with as much expectation as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090. Being the sole replacement for two heavy hitters from the last generation, Nvidia Titan RTX and the RTX 2080 Ti, is no small feat. Thankfully, the gigantic GPU hiding behind the enormous heatsink is more than capable of doing heavy 3D rendering and gaming, due to its 24GB of GDDR6X memory.
It’s no surprise, then, that Nvidia is touting this card as the ideal option for creative professionals, which is where it really shines. Considering its incredible specs and its undeniable performance, this graphics card is going to attract those who need all the power they can get for rendering their 3D animation more than those digging into the best PC games. Though, you’ll assuredly get excellent 4K performance when booting up the latest AAA games like Cyberpunk 2077.
While it’s being touted for its ability to run 8K gaming at 60 fps, the performance there still comes with some mixed results.
As this generation’s flagship card, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 reigns supreme over everything else available in the market. However, it does come with a very high price and performance that’s better, but not that much better, than the RTX 3080, making the latter card a more attractive one for mainstream users. And, some might want to wait now that AMD has announced the Radeon RX 6900XT as their answer to the RTX 3090.
