There is some crazy news about Starlink. I’ve found a map of where the Starlink deployments have actually rolled out too so far and its not great news. Also they just applied for mobile applications!
The map from Ookala (speedtest.net) shows counties with at least 60 speed tests from Starlink in the last 90 days.

After I signed up for STARLINK they said likely to be shipped in mid to late 2021. I was a very early sign up, I was lucky enough to stumble on it before they made an announcement. Elon Musk tends to over-promise timelines so after seeing this map I’m stating to get really concerned. So far they’ve only deployed installations in the farthest north states, with a few internal test sites in California and maybe Colorado. On Friday they applied to the FCC for 1 Million mobile devices for large vehicles like buses and ships, but most likely not for anything Tesla due to the size of the dish.
