On April 13, Li Changzhu, director of the Solution Strategic Planning Department of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., stated on Weibo that Tissot and Huawei have built some Hongmeng functions in the watch, which can be supported by mobile phones with EMUI11 and above and future Hongmeng phones.
It is understood that Tissot comes from a high-end Swiss watch brand. The watch product with some functions of Hongmeng built in this time is Tissot Tengzhi·Unbounded series, the main technology innovation experience, the price starts at 8,100 yuan.
It is worth mentioning that the watch is not directly equipped with the Hongmeng operating system, but some Hongmeng functions are built into the SwALPS operating system.
The SwALPS operating system was developed in cooperation with Swatch Group and CSEM. It is said to be compatible with the three major systems of iOS, Android, and Hongmeng, bringing consumers a full-scene ecologically integrated interactive experience.
When the watch is close to a Huawei phone, the phone will automatically pop up the connection card, and then you can quickly connect with the phone through simple steps.
In addition to the convenient and fast interactive experience, Tissot Tengzhi·Unbounded series watches also have their own unique features in terms of battery life, safety, and privacy. Especially in terms of battery life, the latest generation of photovoltaic cells mounted on the watch can greatly reduce the frequency of charging.
Previously, Wang Chenglu, president of the consumer business software department, said that Hongmeng’s coverage target for this year is 300 million units, of which 100 million are IoT products of third-party brands.
In addition to Tissot watches, many brands in home appliances, automobiles and other fields have already connected to Hongmeng OS. It is expected that more terminal products equipped with Hongmeng OS will be launched this year.
In the face of difficulties in hardware supply, the launch of Hongmeng OS this year will become the top priority of Huawei’s consumer business.
