Earlier this website reported that the whistleblower Kacper Skrzypek spoke on his Twitter account and posted source code information suspected of being grabbed by MIUI 12. It is displayed on MIUI under the name POCO F3 GT. Considering that K40 has adopted similar market strategies earlier, it is generally expected that the enhanced version of the Redmi K40 game for e-sports will also be handled accordingly. It is expected that the POCO F3 GT will be launched in the Indian market on June 24.
The specifications of POCO F3 GT and Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition are roughly the same, but the two machines only differ in processors. The former is equipped with MTK Dimensity 1100 processors, while the latter is equipped with MTK Dimensity 1200 processors. Recently, it has been reported that China will also be the first to release a new machine of the Redmi K40 series equipped with Dimensity 1100 processor.
Dimensity 1100 processor uses 6nm EUV process technology, and uses 4x 2.6Ghz A78 large core + 4x 2.0 A55 eight-core framework, GPU is Mali G77 MC9. The overall specifications and performance are similar to those of the Dimensity 1200, but the cost is slightly lower, which means that the price of the new machine may be lowered.
Taking into account that the current Redmi K40 game enhanced version is priced at 1999 CNY, and if it is equipped with a Dimensity 1100 processor, the price of the machine is expected to be lowered to less than 1500 CNY, which is equivalent to HK$1810.
