DCS World: Performance Comparison: AMD RADEON RX 6800 XT vs NVIDIA RTX 3090 at 3440×1440 Resolution.

THIS IS WRITTEN AT 9th of Feb.2021.

RX6800 XT vs RTX 3090 at 3440×1440 resolution in DCS…While being half the price of RTX 3090 here around, RX6800 XT is a much better price performance video card. In DCS there is a big difference when you set all Post Processing settings (SSAA, SSLR etc) in performance but other than that when you optimize settings you’ll see almost no difference at gameplay experience.

You can play almost all titles at 2K resolutions without any significant game experience change. Tried many modern titles like simulations, strategy titles, first person shooters etc.

I’ve bought 3090 at first cause there was no 3080 around at all. And Radeon was not released. Now I’ve been using RX6800 XT for almost two weeks in DCS, I’ve never regret that I sold 3090. Price difference was huge and 3090 was twice the price of it. And sold 3090 at 1,5x of the price I bought. Mining Craze caused price increase cause of short supplies. Luckily I found a RX6800 XT at good price and RX6800 XT came in half the price cause of the extra earned money came from 3090.

The Cards that I used here:
ASUS TUF RTX3090 OC 24Gb
XFX MERC 319 RX6800 XT 16Gb

Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Pro Wifi
32 Gb DDR4
