OPPO recently announced the results of its own front-screen display technology. It maintains the density by reducing the pixel volume and driving a single pixel with a one-to-one line to maintain the accuracy of the screen display.
It is reported that the under-screen front mirror display technology demonstrated by OPPO this time uses BOE (Boeing Oriental) to make the panel, which narrows the pixel area of the screen above the front mirror to achieve the same 400ppi pixel density as the main screen.
At the same time, through the 1:1 pixel and driving circuit arrangement, it avoids the image loss of the front lens image faced by similar technologies, and can maintain the average and precise brightness, detail and imaging sharpness performance of the full screen.
The domestic news expert “Digital Chat Station” uploaded several pictures of OPPO’s new generation screen front mirror and old technology picture comparison (above) on his Weibo account, after being cropped at the original scale and arranged up and down (the first picture), It can be seen that in the past, due to the relatively sparse pixel arrangement, the part of the screen image of the center front mirror was lost, which is almost invisible under the new OPPO technology.
In addition, OPPO has also introduced AI smart de-diffraction, white balance correction, and HDR correction in the front lens shooting under the screen to improve the impact of picture details caused by insufficient light input, which is expected to bring better front lens shooting performance. .
