We have had our Tesla Model Y for a little over a year now, and have put 39,000 miles on the car. Since we took delivery of our Model Y back in April of 2020, there have been a number of updates.
With some of these new updates, and the availability of the 7 passenger Model Y, we made the decision to order a new Model Y and sell our car on our own.
Because the used car market is so extreme right now, there is an opportunity to get out of our car for little to no impact. Although it sounds impossible, I will share with you the numbers as they landed with our transaction.
After selling our Model Y, we ended up with an unbelievable depreciation and were able to get into our new 2021 Model Y for very little impact, which includes getting more features than our last car.
