Google launches new version of Pixel 4a 5G: Snapdragon 765G core / sells 3,200 yuan

On January 8th, according to The Verge report, Google is about to release a new version of Pixel 4a 5G, which will be priced at a lower price than the current version, specifically US$499 (approximately RMB 3200).

The report pointed out that the Pixel 4a 5G released by Google at the end of September was exclusively sold by the US operator Verizon, priced at approximately US$600 (approximately RMB 3,900).

The Google Pixel 4a 5G sold by Verizon is expensive because it supports 5G millimeter wave, while the new version cancels support for 5G millimeter wave. The machine will go on sale on January 28.

In the core configuration, Google Pixel 4a 5G uses a 6.2-inch OLED digging screen, equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, equipped with 6GB of memory, 128GB of storage, and a battery of 3800mAh.

It is worth noting that Google Pixel models enjoy priority to update Android major version treatment.

Earlier, Google and Qualcomm announced that starting from Android phones equipped with Snapdragon 888 chips, the two companies will provide support for Android operating system versions and security updates for a period of 4 years.

Taking into account that Google Pixel 4a 5G uses the Snapdragon 765G chip, as Google’s own mobile phone, it will receive at least three years of Android updates.
